Important safety precautions to follow:
Heat Transfer: Metal tins can become very hot during use. Always place the tin on a heat-resistant surface to prevent damage to furniture.
Surface Heat: Do not touch or move the tin while the candle is burning or while the wax is still liquid.
Drafts & Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation in the room. Even though paraffin is generally safe to burn, improper combustion can lead to increased soot.
Wax Quality: Ensure you are using refined paraffin wax designed for candles, not industrial, unrefined products.
Wick Care: Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 to 1/2 inch to prevent excessive soot or high flames.
Never Leave Unattended: As with any open flame, never leave a burning candle in a tin unattended.
